By accessing and using friendGroup, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, you may not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use friendGroup. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
You are responsible for:
SMS notifications are completely optional. You can use friendGroup without enabling SMS. By actively checking the "Enable SMS Notifications" checkbox (unchecked by default) during onboarding or in Settings, you consent to receive text messages from friendGroup at your registered phone number. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of using friendGroup.
Messages are sent from +1 (321) 384-5008. You may receive up to 15 messages per month depending on your notification preferences. Message types include: login verification codes, event invitations, birthday reminders, leaderboard updates, group predictions, and meme of the week alerts. Frequency varies based on your preferences and group activity.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier fees from your mobile provider apply to all SMS messages. friendGroup does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge standard messaging rates. We are not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
SMS delivery is dependent on your mobile carrier and network availability. Carriers, including T-Mobile, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS service may not be available in all areas or on all carriers.
You may opt-out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message or managing your preferences in Settings. Reply HELP for help and support information. We will process your opt-out request promptly. For additional support, contact [email protected].

You retain ownership of content you post on friendGroup. By posting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content within the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post any content you share.
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, friendGroup and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.
Your use of friendGroup is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
